$100 is good, that's what I paid for 2TB's just a few months ago!

I hope Seagate puts the pressure on WD to lower prices (specifically their $250 8TB drive) because WD has been expensive as hell the last few years.

If I recall correctly the Red's FW also has 1 or 2 features for NAS/RAID 'good behavior' that WD doesn't allow in their non-NAS drives. This was the case a few years back, don't know if it is now.

The 2TB is $90 .. fail. I might go grab a 3TB. The Hitachi 2TB drive that I store music on irritates the hell out of me by going to standby mode every 8 seconds and takes forever to spin up. And by forever I mean ~3-4s :rolleyes: first world problem.
