AMD is officially dropping prices on FX-8120 to $199, I wonder if MC will go even lower (i.e. $150 or something like that ).

Checked their page just now....and it's down to "low price" of $189.99, $10 more than the i5 2500k.

OMG the first CPU ever to come stock at over 4 GHz!!! How exciting!!!

Well... not really, but I'm surprised AMD marketing didn't hype that up given what they've done with the 7 series branding (Radeon 7770 GHz Edition BS).

Dead-ish for a while now. Current deals only offer $40 off on a motherboard now, albeit with an FX8120 that is $50 cheaper.

Previous $100 or $120 off on mobo combos almost had me buy for the board (& sell the chip).

Phenom II X3 B73 at $39.99, X4 B93 $69.99 showing up at my local store (but no more Phenom II 830 X4's at $49.99).
