MBP drive cable repalcement, take 2?

I just replaced it with this in November: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HQCD66K/ref=pe_385040_127541850_TE_item

And now she has the same problem again. With the drive in an external usb enclousure it boots and runs fine, drive not found when installed internally.

Should I spend more money on the iFixit one or just buy another from Amazon?
I've done plenty of PC build/repair and laptop stuff, I was careful but it's not impossible I screwed something up.

Thoughts?
