MBP 15.4 inch display going nuts!

this just happened today

my screen had a massive fit whilst i was watching a streamed episode of scrubs on my external display

starts about 20 in and gets prgressively worse

its all fine and dandy now tho

not a screen saver, thats the display going mental!

yeah i have apple care till 2010 so im good. but i cannot be without this thing for the next few weeks so im just going to hold off taking it in. if it does actually die then i will take it in

That is a backlight/electronics issue, the display is dying. Doesn't look like it has very long to live. If you have an Apple store near you they can swap the hard drive in to another unit and give you a loaner while yours is in for warranty repairs. Takes them about 2 weeks to turn them around. Show the geeks at the genius bar that video as well.
