MBM, doesn't show CPU thermal diod temp.

MBM icon sitting in the bottom right shows motherboard temp and socket temp but it shows CPU temp=0.
I understand that Ath XPs have inbuilt thermal diod and MBM can sense that. Am I wrong? If not then why MBM doesn,t show the CPU temp?

BTW the same temp which MBM shows as socket temp is shown by the bios hardware monitoring utility as CPU temp.

Can somebody help?

Use that page to help you set up mbm to read from the diode on your mb. Not all motherboards allow this, and even the ones htat do still prefer to give you the socket-thermistor temp.

The latest MBM set up my A7N8X Deluxe Rev 1.04 automatically. Are you sure you picked the rev 2.0 instead of 1.0x?

EDIT: Post #2000!

You need to manually set the diode sensor to the very last available sensor on the list. Then it shows up.

can you be a little more elaborate on that.BTW there is one app available for the MBM settings. How to use that? I have downloded both MBM and MBM Settings, but how to make them recognize each other?
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

I have downloaded MBM latest version from the link you provided and there is a settings program as well which also I downloaded. But how to use this settings program with MBM.exe program?
One more thing at the time of installation , it asks for specifying the mobo, but the motherboards given in the list are about five or six only.Asus is not listed in that.I don't know what to make of this. BTW I haven't 'bought' MBM, just downloaded, so prolly the full functionality is not available in this version.
What say?
