MBA Interview Thursday! suggestions?***Update: Interview done!

Update:

Interview od done with. I didn't perform as well as I would have liked, but I got into the part-time program. I have to wait until next week for the Full-time decision. I hope I get in for Full-time.

I have an interview on Thursday for the full time MBA program at Rutgers, any suggestions? What should I be expecting.

From the Michigan MBA process they said you should prepare for the following:

1) Why Michigan(rutgers for you)
2) Why now (why at this point in your career)
3) WHy you (what makes you so special?)

1.) Why Rutgers?
"Because I couldn't get into Michigan."

2.) Why now?
"Because the economy stinks and I'm jobless, so I'll bide my time in school bulking up my resume with menaningless soft skills until the economy picks up. Hopefully by then the economy would have improved enough for me to get a Product Manager job at KOTEX so I'll be able to pay off the bone-crushing MBA debt by then."

3.) Why you?
"Because I'm one of the few people willing to live and go to school in Jersey! :Q Lady, if that doesn't make me extremely special, I don't know what does!!!"

You're deadon about #1. I could getinto any top tier schools because I lack the 4-5 years standard work experience. I have 5 months. I'll take any job I can get that doesn't involve selling or dealing with retail customers or personell.

The cost of the MBA program at Rutgers is decent it's like $6K base a semester.

Decision will be made next week. I was a little nervous and forgot to go over a few points that I had prepared last night.

What really stumped me was

What do you have to bring to Rutgers? I gave an average answer of a different perspective. They were really hounding me on the lack of work experience.

I hope I get full time

Money. In other words, your salary


Why so little work experience?
Well, I worked up the courage to go to school in Jersey. That should give me 3 years of REAL LIFE EXPERIENCE, Lady!
