So, I am an undergrad doing CS. I'm thinking of getting a masters in something, but I don't think I wanna do it in CS. I have very little interest in doing research, and I am extremely in the business and engineering sides of IT. So, I am wondering if an MBA and a CS bachelors of science work well together, and what kind of work could I get with them?

It's a pretty good combination. You can easily get jobs working with Accounting/Finance systems. I have an MBA with Finance concentration and an MIS undergrad degree and got picked up by a Fortune 500 company right out of school to work with one of their Accounting Information Systems.

My Masters in Networking and Systems Administration requires at least 3 business courses to keep you rounded in that way.

I have a BS in CS and intend on getting an MBA. I personally would recommend getting a regular MBA, not one of those MS-IT type deals. Its more marketable.

I have a bs and ms in CS and did my MBA, and would also recommend doing a "regular" mba. This is especially the case if you ever think you might make a career change. Personally I find myself doing very little traditional "CS" work and more systems management.

I have a BS in CIS and an MBA and work for a fortune 200 company as a safety manager. Started in help desk with the same company in Jan 07 and now I manage union employees.

If you do this it might not change your first job you get right out of college but it will certainly help down the road. I never expected to move out of IT so soon but man am I glad I did.....
