Hello All. I am having problems with my ASUS maximus 2 formula motherboard. When I leave my EVGA 9800 GX2 in the main pcie slot, my computer reboots constantly right before it gets to the desktop. And only after I install the correct driver. EVGA was nice enough to send me a replacement video card, but obviously that was not the problem.
I moved the card to the other pcie slot with success, but I'm worried about cooling since the card is close to my power supply.
I can't find any RMA info on ASUS's website, but I did manage to send tech support an email. The warranty is good for another year.
Questions:
1. Can you recommended a replacement mb with the same features and specs as mine? I'm assuming the same maximus 2 formula is no longer on the market.
2. Anyone have trouble with ASUS customer service? If so, did you eventually get it resolved? What do you think is the best way to deal with them?
