I have a question. Can an AMD Thunderbird 1.2Ghz with 266Mhz FSB run on a EPoX 8KHA motherboard ?

the short answer is yes. It depends on the revision and bios date on supporting some processors, but your 266/ 1.2 is supported in all revisions and bios dates
