MB monitors and CPU temp, who to trust? Do we have a poll?

What does everyone use? Do we have a poll on this?
Using MBM 5 and running Prime95, I get 36C.
Using Winbond that came with my NFS-7, I get 52.5C using Prime95.

Which do I trust?

Calibration is wildly varied depending on the board & brand, and even depending upon which BIOS revision you've got. You can put the same CPU/cooler into an Abit NV7-M and it reads around 70C, then put it in an Asus A7N266-VM and it reads around 42C.

Considering your particular board, 52.5C sounds more believable.

I have the same MoBo and use both Proggies and they read the same so you might try updating the BIOS and using the new Winbond with it if you haven't done so...either that or change the sensor reading on the MBM to Winbond 2.

I use to use speedfan but now use asus probe, id use both but speedfan crashes if i use asus at the same time, they bothe seem farly accurate but then how do i know what accurate is
