mb for dual-xeon 2.4 with SCSI and 3-4 RAM slots?

This would go into a 1U rackmount case with 2 - SCSI drives (RAID-1) for a colocated webserver.

Looking for suggestions for a good, reasonably priced motherboard or 1U barebones.

Tyan would be your place to look. Do look at their Opteron offerings too - Xeons with their high thermal output generally aren't really a good idea for 1U, while Opterons do have power saving technology, and now even are available in low power versions for exactly that purpose - 1U racks.
