Hello all,
I have spent the last few days reading through as many thread as I could and I still need some advice. I have a nForce4 MB die and on first testing, it looked like my E6600 was fine, but after another test, it too is gone.
This may be my last upgrade for a while, in Jan., my wife and I are expecting our first child. So while I have the time and money
I need to get a new MB and CPU.
I mostly play games on this computer, and do some video encoding but not much.
I do not want to overclock, I will leave it at stock speed.
I have a Dell 24" monitor, and I try to play at 1900x1200.
also 8800 GTX.
So between these three, which would you go with?
e6850
q6600
q6700
I will be playing some old games and a few of the new ones:
BF2142
Company of Heroes
World in Conflict
C&C III
Crysis
ET: Quake Wars
Sup Com
Thank you for any help/advice
