Maze5 or Swiftech MCW60?

I need one for a 7900gto and would just like some feedback on which is better.

Neither try to save up 30-40 more dollars on what you would be paying for both and get

the EK 7900 bock.

My EK blocks at top Maze4 at bottom

i WOULD but i cant. Problem right now is that the 7900gto stock fan is huge, well the heatsink is, so I cant fit my pump into my case. Since the ek 7900 takes up the whole card, that wouldnt solve my problem. Thanks though and could you link me to your guide?

so how would going from one block to another change anything? The EK block is about as thick as the factory video HSF. Its probably a tad bit thinner then the MCW60, and a tad bit higher then a LP MAZE4.

You are aware you need to REMOVE the stock HSF for both block options you listed. So i cant see why one would work and the other wouldnt, unless you plan on cramping your pump up hella close to the video card which i would highly NOT recomend.

What makes it easier to play with is the option of having the barbs point up or down vs sideways.


To make things short, if you plan on upgrading to a 8800GTX, get the MCW60 as more people are using those over Maze5. If you plan on keeping your 7900GTO for a while, the EK block has no competition besides the 40 dollar more expensive DD Koolsah series. And they both perform identically, well according to my tests.

Well the pump is sort of close to the card not touchign it or anything, if i put it in right now, itd be touching the fan and the side panel couldnt go on. I think in the end I might go with the aquaextreme MP-1.
