Maze vs. Maze 2

K, is there a sig. performance increase w/ the maze 2? and if you are going to use a peltier, how much better is the maze-2-1 or maze-2-2? does the coldplate increase performance in general? how much?

EDIT: ok, i see the price diff. b/t the two is only $10 (and you get a much better hold down w/ the ver.2) ... but are there less expensive solutions that work just as well?
 
The Maze 2s biggest advantage over the Amazing Block is the mounting system. The 2.1 and 2.2 with the bolt on cold plate are better if you use pelts. BTW, I have an Amazing Block, Maze 2 and a Maze 2.2. Danger Den has superb products and great service.
