didn't engineers at alfa romeo said the maximum usable horses for a forward-wheel-drive car is 240bhp?
and the horse-power race goes on...
does alfa romeo still make cars??
in Europe of course... they won the ITCC cup last year IIRC...
plus they need to give the green light for this if they haven't already

pretty nice. wonder what the price is going to be. hopefully not STi territory because I don't think it has a chance there.

what fine print? 😕
A five-point upper grille section that also serves as the air intake for the engine's intercooler.
As evidenced from the raised hood that stretches from the bottom of the hood to the vicinity of the intercooler, seems like they have the air coming in thru the grill above the mazda insignia, and then ducted to the intercooler. Speaking from personal aesthetics, I much prefer this design than have a hood scoop get in the way of the 6's lines.

i would imagine somewhere between the legacy and STI
it makes about the same power and torque as the evo
it looks better (subjective)
will have a nicer interior
cons
front balanced AWD instead of rear
though it does reach 50/50
not as fast as either
i would imagine it will be faster than the legacy but slower than the STi an Evo
my guess would be something like 29-30K w/ leather and a nice set of options
i read somewhere that Austrailian pricing is something like 50,000 AU
the Sti over there costs about 58,000 AU (MSRP)
hopefully i can get one with HID and NAV for 31.5 K or lower and i'm all over it since i'm not crazy about the G35
and to me the STi and Evo are downright hideous

Considering Alfa makes a 340 hp small hatch that's FWD... no. THey tested it on top gear, it did great.
