mazda exec says they want to bring to market (not specific which) mazdaspeed6, awd, and/or 2 door. He did say no approvals yet.

if a speed6 awd comes, im getting it. i missed out on the last one.

Here is one that's actually English.

I like this part:
"Mazda’s estimates for the 6’s weight are similarly impressive. Depending on the engine, the new car is 220 to 375 pounds lighter than a four-cylinder second-gen Mazda 6. A fully equipped Russian-market version of the new 6 is said to weigh just 3109 pounds, which not only makes it lighter than its classmates, but leaves it just slightly heavier than a Porsche Boxster S. Whoa. Thanks, high-strength steel."

^ I read that article yesterday. Seems pretty impressive. AWD mentioned above would be pretty nice.

Hmm I like the look of the front end, but am not sold on the back.

Still I'd be hard pressed to say no if they bring a Mazdaspeed version out with AWD...except it will probably be $.

Meh

Side profile reminds of modern BMW (not a good thing, new BMWs are UGLY).

Back = sonata

Typical modern melted plastic look design

Is this still sharing a common platform with the Fusion? They do look an awful lot alike, which isn't a bad thing.

I am so happy to finally see the end of the "aero-nose" age of car design. We’ve had this crap since the 80s beginning with the Taurus. Granted, the original Taurus was better looking than just about any other sedan being produced in 1986 and it was a needed design change to move the industry into a modern direction – but thank god it’s ending. Several cars like the Mustang, 300 and others ditched it five years ago and the rest of the industry is finally catching up.

I like it. Light, reasonably powerful, clean look, but the lack of a MazdaSpeed version makes me a sad panda. Perhaps in the future.

I don't like these goofy new front ends.
Why can't they make something not so round and swoopy.. I guess I am a tad old school when it comes to car designs but I just don't really find that attractive. It looks like a lower CX-5.

Should have been more like the concept. The design here will be dated quickly. It's not aggressive enough. Better...but not quite there.
