Mazda6 getting a turbo

I'd be curious to see the mileage it gets with 2.5T engine. Also a bit disappointing about no refreshes to exterior. Mazda's coupe and kai concepts were absolutely gorgeous, I would have loved to see that design language incorporated into production models.

Jesus, finally. Now give it a wagon. And bring back the Speed3. I'm about ready for a semi-practical 2nd car and would be nice if they could up the ante by offering something more compelling.

Edit: And offer the turbo in the 3 and CX5.

2.5T in 3 would be overkill without AWD. Personally I'd settle for a Mazda3HB with 2.5 SkyActive-X engine. I don't need to be the fastest on the block, but if 2.5X can do ~215hp with much improved economy, that would be the sweet spot for me.

Barely, you'd be hard pressed to tell them apart if you're not familiar with the car already.

2.5T in the 3 would make it a Civic Type R, basically.

Still no android/apple connect support in the head unit. /cry

damn. c'mon Mazda. I know you're a smaller car maker, but shit like this is just laziness. How hard is it to include Andoid Auto in your software update?
Also bummed that they won't offer a manual with the 2.5T. Excited to see this compared to the Accord 2.0T manual

the mazda6 will have vastly better seats though. That's for sure. I can't wait to test drive these two back to back next year!
