Mazda3 Oil Change

Wow, I didn't see this thread before.

It is absolutely not acceptable. Your oil filter is probably clogged with break-in particles, and it very well may already be bypassing.

You need to change both.

It's interesting because you can have a Mazda3 with navigation, and HIDs but you can't get automatic climate control.

Ayup...glad I knew about the oil change issue on new Mazda's when I bought my 6. Got free oil changes/tire rotations for the first year.

What I usually used to do when I changed oil myself was to just put a big a$$ scredriver throough the filter and remove it.
