I've watched a video and read a how-to on how to replace my 08 3's cabin air filter, and it looks like a royal pain. Has anyone had the dealer replace theirs? If so, how much did it cost you?

I just read up on it, somewhat annoying and more steps than it really should be, but it's certainly doable with maybe 1/2 an hour of work.

mazda made the engine air filter harder than normal too...

most cars, you just flip the clips to open the compartment and take out the filter and replace. On the Mazda 3, you have to unscrew the cover and actually go under battery, then un clip the the cover, and then try to slide the filter out. It's more steps than usual.

I just did the engine air filter, and yeah, it was more difficult than necessary.
