Mazda2 - Anyone have one?

Anyone have a Mazda2? How do you like it?

I'm thinking about getting it... I currently have a 2012 Buick Regal with 60,000 miles. The mileage isn't that great though, AVG is 25 MPG.

I'm seeing AVG for Mazda2 as 35 to 38 on fuelly.com.

Thoughts?

Mazda seems to have targeted the mazda 3 as the car that can "have it all", with the mazda 6 just being a bigger version of the 3. The mazda 3 gets a high trim with all the bells and whistles (tech and safety packages) and a bigger engine options. The mazda2 on the other hand seems like a cropped mazda3 with options totally missing. I would say, if you are in a city where roads are tiny and parking space is a premium, or you are only able to afford the basic mazda2, then go for it. Otherwise go for the mazda3.

If you drive more highway than city, get the 3.

Not a fan of the Mazda 2 for anything other than a Pizza delivery / Courier type job.

In your case it would be a substantial step down in space and comfort for a bit of fuel savings.
I would rather buy a used Mazda 6 or Toyota Camry than a new Mazda 2. Unless your car is falling apart, keep it and enjoy the space, quieter ride and lots more passing power.
