Mazda Takeri concept

Twin turbo diesel and regen braking for this potential Mazda6 successor.
And I'm totally digging the new design language.
I can't wait to see how the ND miata will look like.

Cut off 2 doors, take 500lb off that and give it a decent v6 and Ill be a fan. Looks like it would be an ok family car tho.

Wow, they managed to pull off organic styling without making it look like an ugly fish (like Hyundais). Also, this is the only version of the new Mazda grill that looks decent.

Well, that's one of the most attractive Mazda design concepts in awhile. Interesting ideas, but much more likely to have skyactiv gas engines.

Very nice. I would probably get this if it released similar to the concept (TT diesel) and styling like that. Love the styling.

Here's an article with my favorite ND render. Pretty sure the article is just rumors, nothing has been confirmed.

I am very excited for Mazda's next generation of sports cars.

They could probably throw a Skyactiv-D in there if there's demand.

Mazda announced the Skyactiv-D is coming to america in the 2013 model line.

Mazda is known for their unconventional, quirky ideas.

They had a miller cycle engine with the Millenia, and of course, the only make to have the rotary.

Twin turbo diesel with regen braking is going to have a 40mpg potential?

The BMW 335d is a twin turbo V6 diesel and it pumps out 265hp with a whopping 425ft-lbs of torque, and it gets 36mpg as a highway cruiser!
When I had a chance to drive it, the thing hardly needed to rev over 2k. There's just monstrous amounts of torque that kicks just above where most cars idle! That's a helluva good ride for a 4 door saloon that the Mazda6 is.
