Mazda smiley face front end poll

What do you think about the smiley face front end on some Mazdas?

I bought one, so I'm biased.
Didn't really like it when I first saw it, but the car itself is so superior to others in its class I decided to live with the look.
 
I first wanted to vote "hate it" but then moved up one. It is just about tied with Acura's grilles for unnecessary ugliness.
 
If they got ride of the smiley face I would buy an MS3 in a heartbeat. I cried when they did away with the old look of the MS3. That was, IMO, perfect. Too bad you can't find any new one of those now.
 
The reason I didn't include a "funny looking" or "indifferent" response is because I wanted to poll if people think it looks good or not. If "funny looking" to you is cool and cool is good then you probably like or love it. "Indifferent" probably means no reaction which I would think is "don't like it."

I personally have an 05 and am probably going to buy a 12. I hate the grin but love the car so it's not enough to turn me off from buying another one. I'll just buy a darker color so the ugly grin doesn't stand out so much.

I'm biased, but I do like the old look better, particularly the lack of a huge, overtly visible, hood scoop. I really enjoy the sleeper appearance of my 1st generation MS3.

I love looking in the mirrors and seeing the smiley face. 2012 Mazda3, they are toning down the grin and releasing the skyactiv technologies.

If I didn't dislike the motor enough, the grin is the final nail in the coffin, I won't even consider a 3.

The 6 isn't as bad, but the previous generation was still better, unfortunately the V6 was pathetic.

If you want a less-ugly and more current version of the C1 platform, look at the 2012 US Focus.
