Mazda Protege Alternator

My son's girlfriend has a 91 Mazda Protege with a bad alternator. Anyone know how easy it is to replace the alternator?

Not an issue for me to do it, just I have not seen the car and don't want to volunteer if it is a real hassle.
 
i dont know where that alternator is located, but if its not buried it should be easy to change out, if its buried, have fun.
