Hello,
My Mazda 3 sp 2005 won't start, battery voltage is 12.4 and it has a new fault light on the screen. It's a steering wheel with an exclamation mark next to it.

When I turn key nothin. Happens
Any help would be good thanks

Well, that is a power steering failure light. It would not prevent the engine from starting.

It might have been triggered by a battery/alternator problem though.

What is the battery voltage with the headlights turned on?

Have you tried to jump start the car?

It ended up being the small starter motor throw wire was dirty.
The power steering light has gone.
Thanks
