How can something so extremely perishable sit at room temperature for many moons with a simple seal on it without going bad? It violates the laws of the universe or something.

2. The moment you open it, it's exposed to air which includes fucktons of allergens, dust, spores, bacteria, etc

Can you turn down a miracle whip and hard salami sandwich?

I grew up with miracle whip, but when making protein-salads, I use mayo and seasoning and some good mustard.

Miracle whip is my go to out of the bottle though.

And yes, brand matters somewhat. For our household, either Kraft or Best Foods. None of the "generic" or store brands will do.

Don't know what your missing. The mayo/ketchup combo on fries is even better. Yum, yum!
