Maybe warm, maybe hot? Xbox 360 @ Costco in Avon, MA

Just left Costco in Avon, MA and they had plenty of Xbox 360's bundled with PGR for $489. I was surprised at how little interest they were generating. Are these things no longer hard to get?

Getting easier to find. My local Wal-Mart has had their cabinets full every time I visited for the last month or so.

I don't think telling us something is in stock in your area is a hot deal.

Thanks. I wasn't sure it was hot or even warm. That's wy I put "Maybe....?". Of course if my area has them, then one can assume at least some other areas have them too, can't they?

BPB,

You did the right thing by posting the deal. Ignore the juvenile threadcrapping from coolio. Thanks.

i thought these were common now? my bestbuy (richmond, VA) had a ton last time I was there over the weekend.

It's funny that the WalMarts, Sam's, and CostCos have them around here, but Best Buy (MS' launch partner FFS!) and Circuit City never have them. Electronics snobs FTL!

Well, in my area, the Boston/Providence area, I'm not seeing them anywhere. That's the first time I've seen them anywhere at anytime since launch. The Avon Costco is just outside of Boston. This is a very densely populated area, so stuff sells fast. It's good to know other areas have them in abundance. I want to get one, but not bundled with any game. The local CompUSA has a large disply of boxes, but they are empty and there are no units in stock. I don't know why they have the stupid box display.

The avon store has had a bunch of it in stock for a few days now. It was full when i stopped last week some time.

Thanks. I never visited that store before the weekend. I was hitting another store nearby and popped in and was surprised to see them. I actually live close to the Stadium in Foxboro. Any other store in the area that you know if with just the systems in stock, no game bundles?

because CompUSA is simply an awful store. they pretty much take good business practices and do the exact opposite. if not for the occasional good sale, i would never step foot in the dump.
