Where does Outlook Express hold your messages? I want to reformat and save my messages.

the only way i know is to press ctrl+a to select all the message, then drag them all to a folder.. then after u reinstall windows, just drag all back.. that is it.

Also, just as a tip, never copy the OE files while OE is open. It tends to freak out and delete all the messages in the folder. I'm glad I had backups...

i *think* most outlook stuff is stored somewhere around here:

\Documents and Settings\your user name\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook

at least, that's it for win2k.

but what i would do is choose "export" from the file menu (i think OE has that option) and then save everything to a file.

of course, BananaRe probably has the easiest method
