maybe stupid question but how to keep status bar on weplor xp pro

hi 🙂

everytime i open windows explorer i have to go to veiw and choose status bar. it wont stay there beyond that session and am getting tired of having to do it everytime.

am i missing something or is this a broken feature? i never had this problem with 95/98.

any solutions would be appreicated🙂
 
Try opening explorer, put the status bar on, then close it... do not do a single other thing...

Or... try setting the status bar on, then going to options and make all folders like this one.... I usually do both of those things and it seems to stay up...

did the first part and so far is working but havent rebooted so dont know for sure. if not i will try the second suggestion and if that doesnt work i'll be back.
