Maybe some dumb ? but I need to ask anyway

I have a simple home network which I'm currently upgrading. I just received high speed internet access via my cable provider, and have purchased and installed a wireless router and wireless nic for my laptop (so I can "surf in the sun"). My current home network consisted of a cheap hub and standard 10/100 nics in each of my PCs (3).

My questions are:

Should I abandon the use of my hub and connect my PCs directly to my router?

If so, will I still have my networking capabilities between my PCs?

If I can't "network" without my hub, do I connect my hub to the router and then share my internet connection via ICS?

Regards,

You may connect directly to your router, or uplink the hub to one of the router's regular ports, it is up to you.
The router has a built in switch, most likely, and that will give you better networking than a hub.
