To make a pair of headphones that don't get a short in them in 8 months?

Granted I don't buy 150 dollar headphones but this isn't rocket science.

My Audio .45 just died on me this week. No idea how or why. Its only been 4 months for me and this pair was a replacement for a busted pair I sent back on warranty. No more warranties left 🙁

The crappy Pioneer headphones that came with a CD player I've long since sold are still the best ones I've had, not counting the $150 Senns that I just love and were stolen. 🙁

From what I've heard so far, it wasn't a low life thief. They suspect bigger forces were at play in the headphone incident. All signs point to this guy.
