The ATI drivers seem to crash every single game that i play from ut2k3, hl and mods, morrowind, and MOHAA. I tried the 3.2, 3.6, 3.7, nothing. Any suggestions?

Since i started trying to play games on my new comp.(one below) Just crashed my comp too. Windows said it was due to drivers or something. Believe it was the catalysts again.

Try running everything at stock speed and see if it still crashes.

Also, I think on that board, if you're running your memory at PC3200 speeds or above, use memory slot 2 or 3.

the ram is in the 2nd slot. Anyone have any ideas what to set the timings on the ram to be? They are just at aggressive mode right now.

Disable fastwrites in both BIOS and ATI Smartgart tab.I would also run Driver Cleaner 2

link and reinstall with latest 3.7 drivers.

Remember to follow the readme file in Driver Cleaner 2 .

You don`t say if this was a clean install of OS or did you`ve previous video drivers (like Nvidia ) on your system?

It could certainly be the memory, as I am having EXACTLY the same problem with the same goddamned error report on my Second Computer (NVidia). I may try what others have said, using other slots.

Disabling fastwrites and Smartgart may be a temporary solution, but he should be able to run fine with those on.

Also, try running the memory at it's stock PC2700 speeds for now, just to see if it is the memory. Give 166 X 13 a try (with memory at 5/5) and see if that works.

It`s a known fact that having the above off increases stability, besides I just was throwing in some new input 😉.

Nope, it didn't work 🙁...God dammit, I try and upgrade the memory and it doesn't work :\...NVidia's drivers are WAY better than ATI's
