i found the car i wanted, some guy has it for sale...

1989 N/A RX-7 GTU
14x,xxx mi on chasis
9k on rebuilt engine
new clutch
new paint job
new rear tires...

has a few little minor things i'll need to fix, if he responds... i contacted him like an hour ago, but i guess since i've been online, it seems like it's been forever... hopefully i can take it off his hands... it's a sweet looking ride imho

i don't really know why i posted this, but i'm just kinda excited, so there.

Well that's a nice looking car. Nice car too but make sure you have repair money on the side cause they are not cheap to maintain.

good taste, but man after seeing what my buddy went through for his for the last year, rx7s are like underage supermodels to me- damn nice to look at but i ain't about to touch that sh~t !

he did... to 2k... he really wanted to sell it, after not having the car for a month (he doesn't like the way it handles... he said he'd rather drive his dad's KIA....) so some guy offered him 1550 for him to deliver... i said i'd go pick it up for 1650... let's see what happens I also talked to the previous owner of the car, and he said that all the prob's with the car are cosmetic, so it should def. run great

hehehe, you've gotta baby these cars... take care of EVERYTHING... but as long as you do what you need to do, you should be ok... hopefully i will!

gotta service them at a mazda dealer (big $$$) or someone who really knows what they are doing with rotaty engines
they are nice cars, parts are expensive however...

no-uh... no mazda dealer for me... mazda dealers usually don't know what they're doing with rotaries... if you have something small, and they can't diagnose it, they jsut say that you need a new engine.... wtf is that? hehehe, but yeah, will need a good rotary mechanic to fix the car and teach me how to do it...

I love RX-7s

Those rotaries may be a hassle to repair as there are few mechanics who know anything about it but they are otherwise SO DAMN NICE
