Maybe an ASUS CUSL2 can save me?

Knowing that I am OS limited I posted this in the Operating Systems forum. However, perhaps I'm motherboard limited. I know I'm being totally demanding and perhaps just a wee bit unrealistic thinking a single PC can accomodate my needs, but this (see below) is what I have and need to run. :p Perhaps switching to an ASUS CUSL2 MoBo will be a less expensive, but workable solution in WIN98 cuz it eliminates my ATA100 controller card and has on-board audio (but is it any good?)? Or will WIN98 still limit me too much? I'm praying I don't have to build another PC and use two for all I do :(

ABIT BH6 with P3-700 @ 933mhz on WIN98
(2) x 128mb Crucial 133mhz CAS2 SDRAM
(2) Maxtor 30GB ATA100 Hard Drives
I/O Magic 40x CD Drive
HP 8200i CDR/W Drive

AGP Voodoo 5 Video Card
PCI Maxtor ATA100 Controller Card
PCI Adaptec 2960 SCSI Controller Card
PCI Lexicon Core 2 Audio Recording System Card
PCI S3 Legacy 3D Audio Card
PCI Dolphin Multi I/O Expansion Controller Card (this gives me the extra LPT2 connection for the laser printer and zip drive I need)
ISA Zoom Modem (fax use only) or have PCI Creative Modem
USB US Robotics Cable Modem

Iomega Zip Drive
UMAX Astra 600S 11x14 Scanner
Hewlett Packard 895Cse Color Printer

What's wrong with your current setup? If it works, keep it. Also is that 700 a slot1 or socket 370?????

You won't need the ATA100 Controller card on the CUSL2...that will save you one slot.

There are no ISA slots on the CUSL2, but if you wanted to save another PCI slot, you can use an AMR/CNR modem instead of a PCI card. Both are essentially WinModems, so you will not be giving up performance.

You might want to make sure that the CUSL2 works with the PCI Adaptec 2960 SCSI Controller Card...sometimes these cards refuse to work with the CUSL2.
