First hot deal post...I think it might be moderately warm.....

I was in Wal-Mart today and saw that they were selling a KDS 19" CRT (flat-screen) for $150. I picked one up, and it seems to be very good quality for the price. It runs 1600x1200 @ 75hz refresh rate. It's a nice silver and grey type color scheme.

They had several units for sale...maybe this is a national sale, it didn't look like it was just a store-specific deal.

Link to the monitor on KDS website

Thanks

Is this one of the curved tubes behind a flat screen? If not, that's a pretty good deal for a CRT @1600x1200@75Hz.

Thanks, I hopped down to the local one, they were out of stock at the Monrovia/Duarte one. I picked up a 17" for about $114. Not a bad deal.

Don't play stupid, just be stupid. (Sorry, I'm trying to compete with the cheese in your sig.) YMMV=Your mileage may vary.

1600x1200 @ 75hz still makes me :)

I agree, the 16x12 @ 75Hz still makes this pretty warm. Unfortunately, in the thread from January, people say that text is blurry which ruins it for me.
