It's May Fourth; may the 'Star Wars' puns begin :)

Let's just say you're at a stoplight Sunday and you look in the car next to you and you see a stormtrooper. No worries. He's probably on his way to a "Star Wars" film marathon with the all the other nerds around.
It is after all May 4, the unofficial holiday celebrating of the sci-fi classic, which gave us one of the most repeated lines in movie history: "May the force be with you."
So prepare to be greeted by fans of Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, Han Solo, R2-D2, C-3PO and Chewbacca with a "May the fourth be with you."
Everyone is getting into the act.

Steam has KOTOR 1 and 2 for $3.50 each, two of the best RPGs of their decade (the 00s).

If you don't mind the dated graphics engine (Neverwinter Nights 1 level) the art and sound design are great, the stories by Bioware and Obsidian are good, and you get to bash things with a lightsaber.

Do your self a favour and go download Harmy's Despecialized Editions now. They're the closest HD releases to the original theatrical cuts. Sometimes it's very noticable where he's spliced in the low def LaserDisc footage. Other than that, he's done an excellent job.

Here's hoping Disney gives the original theatrical cuts a proper BD release now that George is being pushed to the sidelines.

So apparently we have to watch out, because tomorrow is the Revenge of the Fifth.

The wife, kids, and I started yesterday, and finished earlier today. First time watching all six in Dolby Digital EX 6.1. I think we all enjoyed it, and I really hadn't watched most in several years.

Why do people watch all six movies?

There are only three movies. The fourth one is coming out next year. :hmm: :sneaky:

I do seem to recall a trio if really bad fan films that came out in the early 2000s. We don't like to discuss those.
