I hope this topic hasn't been posted before? I searched in this section of the forum for socket 939 and didn't find a thread that answered my question. I am pretty sure the socket 939 AMD motherboards will be available by May???

Is there any chance we will see any boards becoming available after Cebit? (939).

I want a new system soon... but want to somewhat future proof my immediate future by going with the socket 939 boards.

Thank you!

I would shoot for end of april. You would see the VIA P8T890's out around that time.

And you have a very high performance 939 pin system!

I'm waiting for one of these bad boys myself :)

BTW I saw a A64 Mobile 3200+ this week in a laptop, it rocks.

Thanks for the update and the link. This spring / summer is an awesome time to be upgrading. I can't wait to see what special products or announcements come out of CeBit. I am definately buying a new system as soon as the Newcastles / Dual channel motherboards become available.... Enjoy!!! :D
