Hmmm. That's the same 80gig drive I sent in that died on me. Got back a Diamond Max 9 but I bought a WD 80SE to use before I got the maxtor back. See what happens when you re-badge a Quantum😉 Might add the new line looks like a Maxtor design.

damn i wasn't as lucky as you were. but i sent them a 30 gb and got a 40 gb back. which is fine with me because before RMAing it, i wasn't sure how the hell i would get a new hdd. getting 10 extra gigs for the 11 $$ shipping i paid was awesome.

i was damn impressed at how fast it took to ship. i live in hawaii and things usually take a hella long time to get places. however, this time i sent the drive on may 27 via usps, and received my drive today, maxtor (and UPS) is on my list of companies to do business with. (i hate FedEX).

whoa dayum u sure got a lotta stuff on those drives. i have a total of (40 +120 +20 + 40=) 220 not nearly as filled as yours are.
