Maxtor or Western Digital Harddrive?

I'm looking to buy a new 120 gig harddrive and I am wondering if there is a general consensus on which brand yields better performance or reliability. I do plan on buying an 8 mb cache model reguardless of which company I buy a harddrive from. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Rob

i like the WD, preformance wise it has a slight edge
