I was looking through the Sunday ads, and I found a flyer from Office Depot advertising the following:

Maxtor 15GB 5400RPM for $99.99 after $10 instant rebate

Maxtor 30GB 7200RPM for $149.99 after $20 instant rebate

Maxtor 40GB 7200RPM for $199.99 after $40 instant rebate

You should be able to price match these with Staples, and take advantage of additional savings by applying a coupon (obtained at another site, or through the mail, of course).

There is a $40 off $150 coupon, and a $25 off $75 coupon, so you could get the following deals:

The 15GB for $74.99 + tax (if applicable)

The 30GB for $109.99 + tax (if applicable) + whatever item you add to get you to $150.00 so as to be able to utilize the coupon

The 40GB for $149.99 + tax (if applicable)

I can speak from experience about the 40GB--I am running it right now, and it is one fast, smooth, quiet drive. Unfortunately, I bought one when they first were released, and so I paid $250 + tax ON SALE at the time. Now I just wish I could find me one of those 75GB IBM 75GXP drives for the same price/GB as this Maxtor!

They also have the following drives:

--WD 13.6GB 5400RPM HD for $99.99 (might be able to price match this, use a coupon from Staples AND get a rebate from WD--don't know, haven't checked the combinations and availability out yet)

--Iomega 100MB External Zip drive for $99.99; again, pricematch & coupon at Staples

--Iomega 250 Parallel Zip drive for $149.99; check to see if you can pricematch & use a coupon at Staples--I don't know.

--Iomega 8X4X32 CD-RW drive for $149.99; same as above, PM & coupon

--HP 10X4X32X CD-RW drive for $199.99 (probably 9310i or 9300i--ad doesn't say); same deal as all the others, PM & coupon at Staples.

Enjoy!

Any deals on the 60 gig drives?

I'm all good on the speed, but I'm all out of space! This is just gonna be sitting in my mp3 server which is only max 100mbps through the network anyways.

Staples also has the 10 gig diamondmax for 99.99 - $20 instant savings. If you can pricematch before using the coupon it will be $55

Hi, Dude--

Sorry, I don't know of any deals on the 61GB 5400RPM drive; you might do a search on [L]www.shopper.com[/L], and see what turns up there. It might be at Onvia, or Buy.com, or one of those other places, and might be subject to some kind of coupon. Good Luck!
