Maxtor Hard Drive

I was wondering if a Maxtor Fireball Plus AS is better than the DiamondMax Plus 60? I am planning on getting a 60 gig at staples but on one of them, it said it was a Fireball Plus. How do you tell if a Maxtor drive is one of the new ATA-133 drives? When i bought one earlier, a 20GB, it said nothing on the outside of the box that is was a D740x but it was one. Do you go by serial number or something?

I believe the Fireball plus is a Quantum Hard Drive.
Maxtor bought Quantum's hard drive division.

Is the quantum fireball a better drive than the diamondmax? Do they still even make those anymore?
