I installed a 30GB maxtor drive yesterday, and am having some problems getting everything situated. Any help would be appreciated.

Here are is some basic info

Win 98SE
Maxtor 30GB - new HD Primary Master
WD 15GB - old HD Primary Slave
CD-RW Secondary master
CD Secondary slave

I used the maxtor software to set the new drive up, gave it 3 partitions, 8, 10 and 10 GB each. My old drive was also set up into 3 partitions of about 5GB each. I copied the first partition of the old drive onto the first of the new drive. I am using the maxtor EZ BIOS for the maxtor HD (probably a big mistake) and the regular BIOS for the second drive.

The problem I am having is that windows only sees on partition on the maxtor drive, and I cannot get it to find the other two. I have tried to re-run the maxtor software to check it out but I keep getting an error telling me I don't have enough drive letters available (stupid caldera dos) and it doesn't work. I could always unplug a the CD drives and it would probably decide it had enough drive letters available to get me back to the maxtor software, but I don't know if that is the solution. I am at a loss as to what the problem may be, though I think the likely culprits would be the EZ-BIOS from maxtor and possibly something with windows. Any solutions?

Thanks.

John.
