Maxtor 8.4 gig drive and click of death

My Maxtor drive now makes a constant clicking noise and won't be detected by bios.
Any how i got a RMA # from maxtor and shipped it backed since it has a 3 year warranty.
My question do you think MAxtor will be able to fix it ... or will they give me a NEW drive.

Would like to here others that have dealt with maxtor with the drive warranty...
