Maxtor 6L060J3 or 6L060L3?

Both of them are 60GB 7200GB. Maxtor web site says:

<< The letter "L" contained in the model number denotes that this drive was manufactured in Japan with a Fluid Dynamic Motor. >>



While I can see the difference by reading the words, how would those two different types of motors affect the drives both quality and performance wise?

BTW, how much performance does UltraATA/133 gain over UltraATA/100?

I think the fluid dynamic motor improves noise level only. I have a hunch it would be more reliable, too.

Little to nothing. The most important feature of ATA/133 right now is that it removes that ~130GB drive size barrier.

Hmmm... makes sense...
The price difference (about $10 at newegg) seems to be reflecting this too...
