Just a little feedback from a very dissatisfied ex-customer of GPS. If you do a search for GPS you will find the great Ram fiasco. They sold it at a very cheap price, a whole bunch of us jumped on the deal. They had a very limited quantity but continued to take orders for a couple of weeks. Anyway, they charged our cards immediately and while a few folks got theirs after begging most of us didn't get it for at least a month. It was almost 2 months for me. I refused shipment and am still in the process of disputing. This is even after I left phone messages, faxes, and emails to cancel my order about a month after I placed it, yet they sent it anyway after another month.
The owner kept showing up on this board claiming he was swamped while at the same time continuing to take new orders for something he didn't have in stock. I personally think he was doing some speculative selling because it was during the few months when the ram prices dropped about 50%.
Other folks may have better experiences but I sure didn't!
 
Wow...and to think, I just finished slamming an online merchant in a Consumer Depot-related thread.

GPS is evil. They'll take your order, bill you for it, but deliver no product. Only after disputing the charge (nearly two months after the order) and receiving a credit did they bother to send my two pieces of 128MB RAM. And then, then packaged them for sh!t, one on top of the other in an anti-stat bag, wrapped with tape, and stuffed in a small padded envelope.

Stay away! It's not worth it!
 
Buy your memory from Crucial. Their prices, quality, CS, and warranty can't be beat. Not to mention an additional 6% back if you go thru Ebates.

Damn, too bad Staples doesn't carry this drive. Would have been good for a PM seeing how people have had problems with this company....
