I have a Maxtor Model #: 512024U2 (10GB 7200 rpm). Are these drives known to go bad? I think mine may be headed down hill.

Ive had a Maxtor 40GB 7200 RPM harddrive for over a year now. Still going strong. Maxtor is usually a good brand. Not like IBM ;)
