What part of "no thread crapping" do you not understand? If you do not like the deal, you do not have to buy it.

maybe those cost a lot more?

400GB Sata was only 99.99 w/ free ship this past week

its 100 more gigs. show me a link to somewhere else with a better deal.

Its completely different from 400GB drives. When you get bigger drives you have to pay more premium because you don't have to have as many drives. If you only have 4 sata plugs on your mobo you may need to save space for bigger drives.

QFT....
usually these things retail from $190-$200 OTD, so this is quite a deal. Even though if its not the same as the lower hard drive for price/gig, its still a bargain.

This is a GREAT deal for anyone who 1) needs large drive 2) doesnt mind using a Maxtor. If you don't need a 750gb drive, don't pay for it, if you don't need the 500gb one, don't pay for it. This is a hot deal. The lowest price on pricegrabber shows $230 from real stores.

Basically, you save $60 by going in on the deal.
