How wrong is THIS?!?!

Please don't give them the sites that spread/host the coupons codes! This only makes them more likely to pull the coupon early. This is why when you call up for a PM you get the "and where did you get this lovely coupon?" response.

Personally I think you got lucky because the 7 Staples within 14 miles of me don't allow online codes, argh!

Most B&M won't accept online coupons, from what I've read. There are ones especially for B&M and they often get picky when you give a code without proof of where it comes from. Again, from what I know you shouldn't spread coupon codes around, so you're lucky you can just show a bunch of them, because you can get blacklisted (if you do it online or over the phone).

Either the manager at your store is very nice or the clerk is a newbie.

I can be wrong, so let others have a go at it.

P.S. Where's the overnight shipping that should be added to the PM?

he did it in-store. btw, you should NEVER bring a printout from a website (like anandtech, fatwallet, etc) because that just draws more heat on us. what is it that jim morrison said: "i'm trying to get my kicks before the whole sh*thouse comes down?" well, that sh*thouse is gonna come down a whole lot quicker if you run around with printouts....

the rest of wildting's day

1) first i called igo & told them their coupons were stackable

2) then i wrote a letter to value america apologizing for driving them out of business

3) i also called wal-mart and told them they were selling their laptops for too cheap

4) finally i went back to staples and told them that it was bad business to allow a coupon to be used after a price match
