well there is a deal for a wd 250gb @ omax for about the same price, so I'd say that would be the better deal.

Thanks. Just got in on this at Staples using a price match. Threw in a $20 off $100 to bring it down to $105 + tax.

Keep in mind that WD's are only ATA-100, unlike Maxtors that are ATA-133.
