Maxing BF3

Been playing BF3 with my rig and alarmed to see GPU's at 98C with all 4 running at 94-98%. (single player up to now ) Thats SSAO (best possible AA)All Ultra settings at 1920/1200. Going to try edge detect next BUT it seems BF3 can literally soak up all the GPU power from 4 6970 GPU's. Looks utterly amazing best looking PC game ever will post screens laters.
Suggests to me this game can be maxed way more than people think.

Holy cow, so we need 2k in video cards 4 of them to put BF3 on Ultra Settings.

Im using Auto and motion blur reduced all way down to 0. 8x CSAA 16xAF high quality, ambient occlusion, AA gama on. triple buffering, vsync on. Its smooth as butter especially with these new 285.69 drivers. 50's fps,, avg 60fps.... I know if I put it on ultra its gonna bump those textures and make it a raw deal for me. If someone needs 4 video cards for ultra , Ill leave it for him to see and enjoy. Ill take my auto settings which put it on High detail level. thx gl,

do you have vsync on? Otherwise any game that has a decent multi gpu profile will push the usage to the max provided there isn't a CPU bottleneck, particularly when you're pumping up absolutely ridiculous amounts of AA (of which you can make just about any game be a hardware killer doing so).

Also, BF3 single player is far far less demanding than multiplayer, by nearly a factor of 2x in my experience.
