I just picked up this motherboard for a new PC I've built. Since my old Creative board is a PCI card, I couldn't use it in the new rig. So I'm trying out the onboard and for clarity it stacks up pretty well, but I'm frustrated by one facet. I can't seem to expand stereo sound beyond the 2 speakers like I could with the old CL card. Am I missing something? I looked around for the "Speaker Fill" setting, but it's not in any of the places I'd expect.

I turned mine on and got this:

Different RT codec, but I wouldn't think that would be different, you know?

OP, what was your original PCI card? I admit that the ALC1150 on the MSI Z87-GD65 is pretty decent, but still prefer my modded X-Fi XtremeMusic and Fatal1ty Titanium.

X-Fi Fatal1ty. I prefer it too, but I was shaving money where I could and popped for a 256G SSD and an H100i water cooler, which were my splurge items.
